| Max Webber |
| After leaving college, Max joined the firm in 1983 to work alongside his father. Unfortunately due to ill health this only lasted 2 months with his father having to take early retirement. Max began working as a chauffeur bearer whilst at the same time studying embalming in Birmingham under Jack Lee. Following this he then began working towards the Funeral Directors Diploma, which he attained in October 1986. Since then he has worked in the office dealing with families and arranging funerals. In October 1990 Max, together with William Warren and Peter Kennard, were made Company Directors and since 1992 they have been responsible for day to day running of the firm, with the fathers very much taking a back seat. In his spare time he is a keen motorcyclist and is a committee member of the local IAM. He is very keen to stay fit and amongst other activities in 2006 rode a bicycle from Lands End to John O'Groats raising over £3,000 for St Barnabas and Worthing Churches Homeless Project. Although his 2 children, Stephen 25 and Chloe 22, are grown up, he still helps out at a local Scout Group, 2nd Durrington Sea Scouts, as an 'active parent'. |

| Peter Kennard |
Peter was born and grew up locally in Worthing. He went to school at Broadwater Manor, which backs on to H.D.Tribe where his father worked. After school he would sit in the workshops and wait for his Dad to finish before going home. He has literally grown up with the business. He ultimately joined the family firm in 1988 and began at the stonemasons before becoming a chauffer/bearer. He took his Diploma in Funeral Directing in 1992 and moved upstairs that year as his father retired. Peter continues to live locally with his wife Carrie and two children Bethlyn, aged 9 and James, aged 5. He has always been a very keen sportsmen playing football for Worthing United until age and general lack of fitness led him to the golf course. He was also heavily involved with Brighton & Hove Albion as the editor of The Gulls Eye fanzine from 1988-1996. He is now a trustee with Worthing charity Guild Care and helps to organise a number of different fundraising events each year. |

| Tony Hauck |
Tony was born in Chingford, Essex in 1959. My family moved to Worthing in 1964 when my father became District Nurse for Lancing. So after 43 years in the town I consider myself to be a Worthingite. After attending St Mary's Primary School in Clifton Road, Worthing, I was sne to De La Salle College in Hove to complete my education.
In 1994 after stints as a bookmaker and casino operator, and with a young family, my father-in-law (a local Funeral Director) suggested his profession as he thought I had the attributes to make a Funeral Director. I replied to an advertisement and was offered a position with H. D. Tribe Ltd, quickly obtaining my Diploma in Funeral Directing. I was voted on to the Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors (Executive Committee) in the year 2002 and now hold the position of Area Federation Secretary. My father-in-law was right.
I have always worked with the public, and I'm what I would describe as a people person.
I married my wife at St Andrew's Church, West Tarring in 1981, and in 1992 we were blessed with a daughter. |
