| Graham Woolhead |
After spending 32 years working abroad Graham return permanently to the UK in 1990. He joined us in 1992 and became a qualified Funeral Director in 1998 having gained his diploma with the National Association of Funeral Directors. Manager of our Shoreham-by-sea branch he is actively involved with the local community and on more than one occassion has swam 'Miles for St Giles'. Not only has he been President of Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors he has also put in a few years as their Secretary as well.
Graham is happily married for the last 33 years to Vilna (who is also a Funeral Director) and they have two adult children. In his spare time Graham passed his Advanced Motorcycling Test and enjoys weekends on two wheels with his wife. His other enjoyments are photography and when the occasion arises DIY 'through necessity.' |

I joined H.D. Tribe Ltd in 1991 as an accounts clerk/receptionist. In 1999 I was offered the position of manager with the associate company William Weller & Son following the retirement of a fellow colleague. In May 2002, I obtained my N.A.F.D Diploma in Funeral Directing. In 2008 following the incorporation of William Weller & Son, I joined my husband Graham at the Shoreham-by-sea branch.
In 2001 I was elected to West Sussex County Council as a councillor and re-elected in 2004 and am actively involved with the local community. With learning difficulties being one of my prime concerns I was made Disability Champion for West Sussex and chair the West Sussex Learning Difficulties Partnership Board. I am also Policy Advisor for Adult Services and sit on the Strategic and Environment Select Committee and Rights of Way Committee. I also sit on the Board of Governors for Boundstone Community College.
Also a qualified musician I have been involved with a local ballet school for the past 18 years.
I am happily married to Graham for 33 years. Passionate about food I enjoy cooking and entertaining and I enjoy the warmth and friendliness of my family and friends when they come around. I recently compiled my own recipe book together with other recipes that have been passed down through the family. It’s important that we preserve our heritage and culture and to pass these down to the next generation. It’s also fun “supervising” Graham on his DIY projects. |
