Paul was born in Malaysia in 1965 where his late father was serving in the R.A.F. The family returned home to England in 1968 when he left the forces. After leaving school Paul tried several types of work including: making spectacles, catering, engineering and construction before starting work in the funeral profession . Having worked for two other local funeral directors he joined H.D. Tribe Ltd in April of 1998 as a chauffeur bearer.
It was whilst working in this position that he was given the opportunity to take part in the company's in house training scheme as a funeral arranger and conductor. Having successfully achieved the required standards set by the company, Paul took over as branch manager of the Littlehampton office in August 2000 on retirement of a fellow colleague.
He has since taken the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing passing in May 2003. Paul is very happily married with three children. He enjoys D.I.Y, cooking, (but only when entertaining ) and visits to the theatre. As a keen sports fan he enjoys keeping fit with swimming, long walks in this beautiful county of West Sussex and playing golf. |
